It has an enrollment of over 1250 students attending six campuses.  District offices are located in Altair, Texas. The District has a 213 member staff, and is governed by a seven member Board of Trustees who serve staggered, three year terms

Every Rice CISD student in the 2019-20 school year is eligible to receive up to $285 on PEBT card. Since all of our students received free lunch through the Community Eligibility Provision, all can apply!
